Sex Education in School

Should children or teenagers have been taught sex education in schools? Why? What are the problems that come from sex? Is that good or bad for them? In my opinion the children or teenagers should have be taught sex education, because that very important for them if we look to the problems they have without know anything about sex they just do it. The sex education is absolutely good for the children and teenagers. We can judge after we look to how sex dangerous on the children and teenagers without know, how that will offer on the parents future and how that will offer on the country.

Having sex in unsafe way with people is very dangerous on themselves. The American teenagers have more pregnancies and abortions than in other industrialized country. 820,000 girls become pregnant before the age of 20 years. Around 4 million teenagers get disease every year, because of the sex connection. Seventy five percent of the parents say they like their children to have sex education in school to have safe sex and to learn the abstinence. The center for disease control has a piece of information say that 46.7 percent of U.S. high school students have one sex experience at least during high school.

If two people have unsafe sex they might have baby. So, how will that change their future? Usually, the young couple would go to university, but now their parents will have extra responsibilities because of the new baby. There for the young couple will not take responsibility for their baby. I think they will not have enough money from their jobs to pay the tuition and to spend money on themselves and on the child; however we have a big reason to get money in illegal way. If the couple will not go to university, because they are not able to spend that much money, they will not get a good job. Maybe one of them will go to the university and the other will work. The person who works will not get a good job.

Teenager’s sex has disadvantages that affect the country. If the couple wants to abort the fetus, they need money for the procedure. Sometimes the couple dose not tell any person after they abort the fetus. This procedure is controversial because it is not legal in all states.

To conclude, I think sex education is a great idea to teach in the school. No parent want that to happen to their son or daughter. We cannot stop the sex, but we can make it lower. At least we can make the teenagers or children have sex in a safe way.

Global Warming

Global Warming is one of the most important environmental problems throughout the world. What is Global Warming? Why people are worried about this environmental issue? Global Warming in different words is an increase in the temperature of the earth’s atmosphere. The earth’s atmosphere becomes warmer than before. The research proved that human activities are the main reason of the problem of global warming. The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), in its report in January 2001, states that "there is new and stronger evidence that most of the warming observed over the last 50 years is attributable to human activities". Greenhouse gases and deforestation are considered as the main causes of global warming. As result of global warming, we have a higher ice melting rate in the frozen areas and change in climate such as having higher temperature in some areas.(http://www.ipcc.ch/)

The main cause of global warming is greenhouse gases. What are greenhouse gases? It is a mix of gases present in the atmosphere that absorb heat from the sun to warm the earth. The main Greenhouse gases in the earth atmosphere are: Water Vapor, Carbon Dioxide (CO2), Methane (CH4) and Nitrous Oxide (N2O). However, human activities increased the concentration of carbon dioxide and other Greenhouse gases. Plants power, Auto Mobiles and Air planes all use fossil fuels. Burning fossil fuels increases the concentration of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. Methane also has an effect 20 times more than carbon dioxide. Methane gas is release during the processing and preparation of fossil fuels. Nitrous oxide is naturally found in the atmosphere because of the chemical reactions that occur with sunlight. Some of the most common nitrous oxide sources like agricultural fertilizers, nylon, catalytic converters, nitric acid, and the burning of organic matter are man-made.

Deforestation is another common cause of Global Warming. Deforestation according to NASA, “besides, human caused carbon dioxide emissions released to the environment, deforestation actually now is the second most prolific cause of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere”. Deforestation is the source to 25 percent of carbon dioxide emissions released to the atmosphere. Around 33 million acres of trees are cut and burned each year. Deforestation bad side is raising the carbon dioxide by cutting trees. That doubles the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. The plants and trees by its nature absorbed the carbon dioxide and produce clean, pure and breathable oxygen as free to our environment. Therefore, the amount of carbon dioxide will just accumulate more and more in atmosphere by time. (http://www.nasa.gov/)

Greenhouse and Deforestation are the causes which concern the world nowadays. That’s all because of dangerous effects to our environments and life’s. There are different effects caused by Global Warming such as melting of frozen areas and change in climate.

Melting of frozen areas such as, North Pole and South Pole is the main effect from the increase in temperature, it will raise sea levels. There are around 5,773,000 cubic miles of water in glaciers, permanent snow and ice caps. According to National Snow and Ice Data Center (NSIDC), “if all frozen area melted today the seas would rise about 230 feet”. Global Warming will increase if the frozen areas are gone. The frozen areas are white, and reflect sunlight, cooling the earth and most of the sunlight is reflected back to space. If the frozen area melts, the only reflector for sunlight is the ocean. Dark colors absorb sunlight and warm the earth. (http://www.nsidc.org/)

The second main effect of Global Warming is Change in climate. Change in climate lead to dangerous effects. When the climate changes, there will be deadly storms like the Katrina hurricane and this change will affect agriculture. New crops will be able to be grown in areas that are currently too cold or too hot to support them. However, more diseases may substitute any benefits higher temperatures may have. Water resources will also be affected. Some reservoirs may dry if temperature increases, especially if rainfall also decreases or maybe the change lead to heavier rainfall causing flooding in some areas. Change in climate will effects human health, there will be more allergy attacks because the pollen season become longer and more deaths because of heat waves. More diseases will start to appear, since raise in number for some animals which carry these diseases. For example, Mosquitoes will raise the number of people who have Malaria. These animals discussed earlier will travel from their environment to new areas.

In conclusion, we must control the concentration of carbon dioxide, methane, and nitrous oxide to prevent the increasing of the temperature by decreasing the using of fossil fuel. Also we need to grow more trees and plants, and reduce the process of cutting and burning trees.

PC Computers and MAC Computers

Now days when someone wants to buy a computer there are many choices. He needs to do research before choosing one. There are two main types of computers: PC computers and MAC computers. PC is a Microsoft production and MAC is an Apple production. I can divide the differences between PC and MAC into three groups: price, software and security.

In general, MAC computer is more expensive than PC computer. The price alone would attractive more people to buy the production. People would be able to buy a PC computer for about more than the 1/2 price of MAC computer, and get the same benefit. Therefore, because the PC computer is cheaper than MAC computer, people generally buy PC computer.

Most people use a PC computer for both work and entertainment use. Therefore, software companies find that it is more profitable to develop software that is used on a PC computer instead of a MAC computer. There is some software available for PC computers only but, MAC computers have an advantage in one field. MAC computers have some specialized software for media. However, recently many different kinds of media software have been written for PC computers, so PC is no longer behind in this field.

The most important thing is security, and MAC computers win in this point. PC computers are commonly known by 85% of people who use computers in the world. Since this system is well known to the world, there are a lot of viruses that can damage the PC. However, there are a lot of virus protection programs on the market that you can purchase to feel safe about working on a PC. On the other hand, MAC is known for its safety features. Since this system is known by the other 15% of the computer users, there is less viruses out for this system. In 2006 according to Apple, there were more than 100,000 viruses affected reports for PC users, and only two were reported for MAC (http://www.apple.com/).

In conclusion, I think PC computer is the best choice, because they are cheaper than MAC computer, and PC computer have more software and programs than MAC computer. About security, now there are a powerful protection programs in the market that can protect your PC computer for long period.
